Volkswagen Taigun SUV Prices Slashed by up to Rs 1.10 Lakh in India
As far as market rivals are concerned, the Taigun faces stiff competition from the Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, and the Citroen C3 Aircross.
As part of a limited-time offer, Volkswagen India has reduced the prices of the Taigun by up to Rs 1.10 lakh. As a result, the base price of the SUV now stands at Rs 11 lakh and goes up to Rs 18.90 lakh for the top-of-the-line variant. Both prices are ex-showroom. This makes the model one of the most appealing options in its class. Of the twenty-one variants, only five are included in the price cut: the Comfortline 1.0 MT, GT Plus Chrome 1.5 DSG, GT Plus Chrome 1.5 DSG with new features, 1.5 GT Plus DSG Deep Black Pearl, 1.5 GT Plus DSG Carbon Steel Grey Matte, 1.5 GT Plus DSG Deep Black Pearl with new features, and 1.5 GT Plus DSG Carbon Steel Grey Matte with new features. The Taigun shares the Skoda Kushaq's substantially localised MQB A0 IN platform.
