MG Astor Price Increased in India for Select Variants; Check New Prices Here

MG Motor India has increased the prices of the MG Astor by Rs 20,000, which affects the Sharp Pro 1.5 MT Ivory, Sharp Pro 1.5 CVT Ivory, Savvy Pro 1.5 CVT Ivory, and Savvy Pro 1.5 CVT Sangria variants of the Astor. It is important to note that the Astor is still priced between Rs 9.98 lakh and Rs 17.90 lakh since the entry-level and top-end variants's prices remain unchanged. It's available in five different variants – Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro – each of which is available in various colour options like Starry Black, Candy White, Glaze Red, Aurora Silver, Havana Grey, and Candy White with a Starry Black roof.
MG Astor: Powertrain Options
The Astor is powered by either a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol mill or a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The former delivers 108bhp of maximum power and 144Nm of torque, while the latter develops 138bhp of peak power and 220Nm of torque. The Astor is available with three transmission options: a five-speed manual, a CVT, and a six-speed torque converter unit.

On the feature front, the MG Astor is equipped with a completely digital 7.0-inch instrument cluster and a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and connected car technologies. The midsize Astor is one of the most affordable cars with ADAS. The SUV features artificial intelligence and level 2 autonomous driving technology, which include lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, front collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, speed assist, headlamp control, and blind spot monitor.

2024 MG Astor SUV: Key Details
MG India launched the 2024 iteration of the Astor in January this year. The all-new SUV gets enhanced features, such as an improved i-Smart 2.0 with an advanced user interface (UI) and over 80 connected features, including a Jio voice recognition system, which allows voice commands for weather and cricket updates, calculator, clock, horoscope, dictionary, and news. Another notable feature is the anti-theft system, which has a digital key function and offers protection against theft even without a network connection.
