Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabriolet to Launch in India on January 6, Here's What to Expect
The Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabriolet will make its Indian debut on January 6. The upcoming convertible from Mercedes-Benz is expected to be unveiled at their annual conference to be held on the same day.
The Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabriolet will be the manufacturer's first launch for 2023, which gives you a drop-top experience with a dash of luxury.
The 2023 Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabriolet features a Panamericana grille and vertical slats, which honour Mercedes-racing AMG's history. In addition, the lower front fascia has a sizable air intake in front of the intercooler of the vehicle. The E53's rear is distinguished by two sizable LED taillights, which seem to wrap around the rear quarter panel, making the car look wider than it is. The quad exhaust pipes below are rounded in stark contrast to the E63's squared-off tips.

The 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine, which powers the Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabriolet, produces 423bhp and 472Nm of torque. All this allows this high-end convertible to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds and attain a top speed of 250km/h. The EQ boost electric motor provides up to 21bhp of additional power.
The 2023 E53 Cabriolet has an all-wheel-drive system, like most current Mercedes-AMG models. Moreover, the car also includes a launch control system, traction on all four corners, and driver assist automation. The adjustable modes of the AMG E53 Cabriolet enable you to substantially alter its performance. The E53 features an active exhaust system as well as an air suspension system with active body controls.

The 2023 Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabriolet's other features include twin 12.3-inch displays – one for the MBUX infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster. Further, both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard on the car.
Internationally, the E53 Cabriolet has a price tag of $75K (about ₹62 lakh). The price of the upcoming convertible for the Indian market will be reportedly revealed at Mercedes-Benz's Annual Press Conference, which is to be held on January 6.
