Mahindra BE 6e, XEV 9e Delivery Timeline Revealed
The Mahindra BE 6e is priced at Rs 18.90 lakh, while the XEV 9e costs Rs 21.90 lakh in the Pack 1 configuration. Both are ex-showroom prices.
Mahindra has introduced its flagship electric SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, as part of an ambitious push into electric mobility. These e-SUVs, based on Mahindra's cutting-edge INGLO platform, reflect the company's mission of 'Unlimit India.' The BE 6e is priced at Rs 18.90 lakh, while the XEV 9e costs Rs 21.90 lakh in the Pack 1 configuration (both, ex-showroom prices). There is currently no confirmation, however, reports suggest that the full pricing will be announced at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo.
The SUVs are set to arrive in showrooms by the end of January 2025, with deliveries starting between February and March 2025. If you want to buy one of these two SUVs, here's everything you need to know.
Mahindra BE 6e, XEV 9e: Exterior and Interior
The BE 6e makes a striking impression with its C-shaped LED DRLs, a short, compact bonnet, and a forward-leaning cab design. On the other hand, The XEV 9e exudes a bold statement with its coupe-inspired silhouette, accentuated by sleek triangular headlamps, a wide full-width LED DRL, and inverted L-shaped taillamps.

The XEV 9e is fitted with 19-inch alloy wheels, while the top-spec BE 6e showcases striking 20-inch alloys. However, the rear door handles on both SUVs are positioned on the C-pillars.
Inside, the BE 6e and XEV 9e have cutting-edge and luxurious cabins. The XEV 9e is equipped with three digital screens, while the BE 6e features a sleek two-screen arrangement. Moreover, the latter has a grey seat upholstery, while the former stands out with its dual-tone interior. Other features include a two-spoke steering with an illuminated logo, dual-zone climate control, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, a fixed illuminated panoramic glass roof, and powered and ventilated front-row seats.
Mahindra BE 6e, XEV 9e: Powertrain
The XEV 9e and BE 6e offer two battery options, 59kWh and 79kWh, catering to different performance needs. The 59kWh battery is paired with a 227bhp electric motor, while the larger 79kWh battery has a 282bhp motor.

The certified range of the BE 6e is 682 kilometres, and the XEV 9e is 656 kilometres for the top-spec battery version. In addition to the rear-wheel drive configuration, both the XEV 9e and BE 6e are expected to be available with an all-wheel drive option.
