Lamborghini has confirmed that the Huracan Sterrato is expected to arrive next month, indicating the end of the pure NA V10 engine. The supercar is set to be unveiled at Art Basel in Miami, Florida on November 30.
The final non-hybrid Lamborghini will be unveiled at Art Basel in Miami, Florida, on November 30 2022.
Lamborghini has officially revealed the first images of the off-road-oriented Huracan Sterrato, allowing us to finally see the design details of this fierce supercar.
In terms of design, the baby Lambo comes with enhanced ride height, which, the brand claims, can offer driving satisfaction both on the tarmac and dirt trails; it's certainly the very first feature that draws your attention. Moreover, the robust body cladding lends the design a more muscular look, while the high-profile tyres protect its exquisitely designed alloy wheels while driving over the rough stuff. The pictures also show the Sterrato's flared-out fenders, roof scoop, and auxiliary lights affixed on the bonnet. The new Huracan Sterrato also offers more clearance because of the neatly shaved-off rear bumper, which stands high off the ground.
Given that this is a one-off version, the future of Lamborghini will be quite different. Going forward, the company's next-generation cars will be hybridised before going fully electric. The manufacturer has already discontinued its illustrious 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. As for the V10, well, it's the one that's going to propel the Sterrato, and it's likely to have the same 631bhp and 600Nm power and torque outputs as the STO and Performante. Plus, it will have the Performante's four-wheel drive technology to help it on rough terrain.
The Huracan Sterrato will compete against models such as the Porsche 911 Dakar, another off-road-oriented sportscar set to go on sale later in December 2022 after its launch.
