Citroen C3 Automatic: Price Details
Citroen India announced the prices for the revamped C3 Automatic, which was unveiled over a month ago. It has updated features along with an automatic transmission gearbox. The C3 turbo comes with a single turbo petrol engine and is available in the top-spec Shine variant, priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 10.27 lakh. Customers interested in purchasing the vehicle can book it online or visit their nearest dealership, with deliveries expected to start soon. In terms of pricing details, the top-spec Shine variant is offered in four additional configurations: Shine at Rs 10 lakh, Shine Vibe Pack at Rs 10.12 lakh, Shine Dual Tone at Rs 10.15 lakh, and Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack at Rs 10.27 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. The dual-tone variants feature a two-tone exterior finish, while the Vibe Pack includes additional cosmetic enhancements.
Citroen C3: Engine Options
The revamped C3 offers two engine options: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. The naturally aspirated variant is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, while the turbo-petrol engine can be equipped with either a six-speed manual or a new six-speed torque converter automatic (AT). It is important to note that the turbo-petrol engine is available exclusively with the top-of-the-line Shine variant, starting at Rs 9.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual version. When coupled with a six-speed manual, the turbo-petrol engine delivers 109bhp and 190Nm of torque, while the automatic version generates 109bhp and 205Nm of peak torque. The NA petrol unit, paired with a five-speed manual, produces 81bhp and 115Nm of torque.
Citroen C3: Features
Moving on to the features, the C3 now includes LED projector headlights, auto-folding outside rearview mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, and automatic climate control – elements that were absent since the car's launch in 2022. The fresh features are exclusive to the Shine variant.
Additional enhancements comprise grab handles for all passengers, a flip-style key, power window switches on the doors, rear AC vents, remote start/stop functionality, a sliding front armrest, and automatic air conditioning. There will also be other niceties like power windows, hill-start assistance, steering-mounted controls, and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with AppleCarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Furthermore, the Citroen C3's safety is bolstered by the inclusion of six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and three-point seat belts.
