The Audi Q7 facelift will be launched in India tomorrow, featuring several updates to the luxury SUV. Audi Q7 Facelift: Styling Cues
The Audi Q7 facelift will come with a revamped front end, featuring a new octagonal grille with updated slats, replacing the horizontal design of the earlier model. The grille adorns a larger mesh finished in satin silver. The headlamps are designed to create a split effect, with the LED DRLs positioned higher, along with new 'Matrix HD' LED lamps. Both front and rear bumpers have been redesigned, incorporating a new lower central air intake and side air curtains.
The new-gen Q7 will offer new wheel choices, including 19-inch alloys for the base variants and 20 to 22-inch wheels on the higher trims. Aluminium roof rails are also included, and the facelifted model will be available in five colours: Glacier White, Samurai Grey, Mythos Black, Waitomo Blue, and Sakhir Gold.
Audi Q7 Facelift: Powertrain
Coming to the mechanical side of things, the Audi model will be powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo petrol engine, offering 340bhp of peak power and 500Nm of maximum torque. This unit is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to all four wheels via the company's Quattro AWD system. It also features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for improved fuel efficiency. Internationally, the Q7 continues to be available with a V6 diesel engine option. The Q7 facelift is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250km/h.
Audi Q7 Facelift: Cabin and Features
The facelifted car will keep its original cabin layout, with the primary update being the new housing for the digital driver’s display along with a few new features and trim options. The India-specific model will be offered in two interior themes: Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige. The infotainment system has been enhanced to allow the installation of third-party apps, and the driver’s display will now show additional warnings from the driver assistance system.
Most features are expected to remain unchanged from the current model, including a powered tailgate with kick sensor, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, adjustable front seats, a 10-inch digital driver’s display, a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and four-zone climate control.
Coming to safety, Audi may offer eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, an ADAS suite, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The currently on-sale Q7 is priced between Rs 88.6 lakh and Rs 97.8 lakh, depending on the variant, with the facelifted version likely to come at a slightly higher price. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom. The refreshed model will rival luxury SUVs such as the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90.
