2023 Lexus LC 500h Launched in India at Rs 2.39 Crore
In terms of safety, the 2023 Lexus LC 500h is equipped with 8 sensor-controlled SRS airbags, an LED cornering lamp, run-flat tyres, and a pop-up engine hood system for pedestrian protection.
Lexus has launched the updated version of the LC 500h Coupé at Rs 2.39 crore in the Indian market. The 2023 iteration comes with a significant tech upgrade in the form of a new ergonomic touchscreen. Powering the LC 500h is a V6 engine and a self-charging electric motor. Together, they deliver a combined output of 354bhp. For transmission, the vehicle comes mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Introduced in 2020, the LC 500h marked the entry of a new vehicle segment for Lexus India. It was brought to India via the CBU (Completely Build-Up) route. Over a month ago, Lexus rolled out the RX350h Luxury variant and the RX 500h-Panasonic version of the new RX SUV, priced at Rs 95.80 lakh and Rs 1.18 crore, respectively. Prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
2023 Lexus LC 500h: Interior
On the inside, the latest version features an improved infotainment system as standard, which houses a Panoramic View Monitor that provides a 360-degree view of the surroundings. Instead of a previous 10.3-inch infotainment screen, the model now gets a larger 12.3-inch display. The infotainment system offers better control to the driver, in terms of ergonomics.

Other features include a Takumi steering wheel suitable even for circuit driving, a leather shift knob, Mark Levinson 13-speaker sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual Bluetooth, and an additional Dark rose upholstery colour.
2023 Lexus LC 500h: Powertrain, Performance
The Lexus LC 500h is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 naturally-aspirated engine that works in conjunction with a two motor-generators hybrid system. The Lexus hybrid system extracts its power from a lightweight lithium-ion battery, which is a part of the Lexus multi-stage hybrid system. The V6 engine is capable of delivering 295bhp of maximum power at 6,600rpm, while combined torque and power figures stand at 347Nm and 354bhp. On offer is a 10-speed hybrid automatic gearbox sending power to its rear wheel.

2023 Lexus LC 500h: Exterior
Up front, the LC 500h Coupe gets a massive spindle grille, compact LED headlamps, arrowhead running lights, and L-shaped tail lights with 80 LEDs on either side. Furthermore, the vehicle features a carbon roof and flush door handles. It sits on 21-inch forged alloy wheels with a glossy black finish and metallic accents. Now, the Lexus LC 500h is also available in two exterior colour options - Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Copper Crest.
