Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Launched in India; Prices Start At Rs 2.39 Lakh
Royal Enfield has finally launched its much-anticipated offering, the Guerrilla 450. The brand-new Royal Enfield motorcycle takes on the likes of the Harley-Davidson X440, Hero Mavrick 440, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, and the Triumph Speed 400.
Royal Enfield (RE) has finally launched its much-anticipated offering, the Guerrilla 450. After the Himalayan, this bike is the second to be built on the Sherpa 450 platform. The launch event took place in Barcelona, Spain, where the brand revealed the prices of the India-spec model. The roadster starts at Rs 2.39 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.54 lakh. Both mentioned figures are ex-showroom. The paint jobs are offered depending on three variants: Flash, Dash, and Analogue. The Flash variant is available in Brava Blue and Yellow Ribbon, while the Dash variant comes decked out in Gold Dip and Playa Black. Meanwhile, the base-spec Analogue model has Smoke and Playa Black options.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Design
Though it shares some visual similarities with the Himalayan, the Guerrilla 450 is a roadster bike with modest design alterations, making it suitable for the road. In contrast to the Himalayan, you get an 11-litre fuel tank that is long and sleek, a single-piece seat, and a circular LED headlamp up front flanked by LED turn indicators. The remaining body panels, the same as those on the Himalayan, include the side panels, the tail section, and the short exhaust.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Engine Specs
A 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC unit producing 40Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm and 39.5bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm powers the bike. The engine is supported by a slip-and-assist clutch and mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Hardware
The engine serves as a stressed member in the steel tubular frame of the Guerrilla 450. A preload-adjustable monoshock with 150mm wheel travel and a 43mm telescopic fork with 140mm travel support the frame. The bike has 17-inch wheels with a wide, 160-section tyre in the back and a 120-section tyre up front. Furthermore, a 310mm disc with a dual-piston calliper at the front and a 270mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the back are responsible for the braking. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard. The RE model features a long 1,440mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 169mm. The seat height and kerb weight measure 780mm and 185kg, respectively.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450: Feature List
In terms of features, two ride modes, Eco and Performance, are available for instantaneous switching, and the throttle is ride-by-wire. The Guerrilla 450 does not offer traction control while having dual-channel ABS. Although the top-spec models comprise a four-inch circular display with smartphone connectivity, Google Maps, and media controls in addition to access to the motorcycle settings, the base-spec variant has a digital analogue device with the Tripper pod as an optional extra.

The Analogue variant has a price tag of Rs 2.39 lakh, while the mid-range Dash variant costs Rs 2.49 lakh. Lastly, the Flash variant will cost you Rs 2.54 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
