KTM 390 Adventure V with Lower Seat Launched in India at Rs 3.38 Lakh
The new KTM 390 Adventure V is priced at Rs 3.38 lakh (ex-showroom) in the home market. It comes with a seat height of 830mm and borrows its suspension setup from the KTM 390 Duke bike.
KTM has launched the new 390 Adventure V in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 3.38 lakh (ex-showroom), the new model is basically the low seat-height variant of the standard 390 Adventure bike. The riding ergonomics of the V variant is better than the standard bike. With a seat height of 830mm, the new motorcycle is now easier for short riders to manage. The company has lowered the seat height from 855mm to 830mm to make it more accessible to prospective buyers. Besides, the bike comes with a similar suspension setup that is found on the 390 Duke. However, it remains the same in terms of powertrain and features. Customers who wish to book the vehicle can do so as the new model has started arriving at the brand's dealerships.
KTM 390 Adventure V: Engine Details
The KTM 390 Adventure V is based on the same mill as the standard 390 Adventure. It uses a 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor, which is good enough to generate 43bhp of maximum power and 37Nm of peak torque. This OBD2-compliant engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter.

KTM 390 Adventure V: Suspension, Braking
Suspension duties are performed by 43mm upside-down forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear - a setup borrowed from the KTM 390 Duke. This has resulted in reduced ground clearance and travel suspension at both ends. The new Adventure V has 142mm of travel at the front and 150mm of travel at the rear, as against the 170mm (front) and 177mm (rear) travel of the standard model.
Braking power comes from a 320mm disc up front and a 230/280mm one at the rear. For rider's safety, the new bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS, traction control, and riding modes.
KTM 390 Adventure V: Design & Features
The new 'V' variant sports a muscular fuel tank design alongwith extensions, a split-styled seat setup, a raised windscreen, and alloy wheels wrapped in dual-sport tyres. On the feature front, it carries all-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

KTM 390 Adventure V: Price & Competition
In the domestic market, the new KTM 390 Adventure V is available at a price tag of Rs 3.38 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, its price is kept similar to that of the regular 390 Adventure. In terms of rivalry, the new Adventure V takes on the likes of the BMW G 310 GS and the Benelli TRK 251.
