The brand-new X440, the first offering produced through Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson's partnership, went on sale just recently. Both firms expressed their gratitude over the "highly positive response in customer bookings" for this product, which seems to have been well received by bike enthusiasts due to its incredibly affordable price tag, considering it is a Harley. Owing to the high demand, Hero MotoCorp has decided to temporarily end the booking period for the X440 on August 3. The subsequent booking window will be revealed later. With this, the newly launched motorcycle will likely see a price hike soon. As of now, the bike can be booked through the manufacturer's official website for a token amount of Rs 5,000. The test rides for the bike are set to begin on September 1 for customers who have pre-booked the same. Buyers who booked their X440 online before August 3 are going to be given precedence for deliveries, which are expected to commence in October, as planned. According to Hero MotoCorp, deliveries would be scheduled according to the dates of the bookings.
