2024 Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally Launched at Rs 98,130 in India, Gets LED DRL, Answer Back and More
Yamaha has launched the 2024 iteration of the Ray ZR Street Rally in India. The new Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally is offered in three colour options: Cyber Green, Matte Black, and Ice Fluo-Vermillion.
Yamaha has launched the 2024 iteration of the Ray ZR Street Rally at Rs 98,130 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India. For 2024, the Ray ZR Street Rally gets an LED daytime running lamp (DRL), a dual-tone seat, and an Answer Back function. The Answer Back function, marketed as Yamaha Scooter Answer Back, is application-based and is activated with a click of the Answer Back button on the mobile app. This feature, also available with the Fascino S, allows the rider to locate his vehicle by turning on the indicators and sounding the horn for approximately two seconds. Besides, the updated scooter brings along refreshed styling elements.
The 2024 Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally is offered in three colour options: Cyber Green (new), Matte Black, and Ice Fluo-Vermillion. The Ice Fluo-Vermillion is exclusively available at Yamaha Blue Square showrooms only. Bookings for the new scooter are underway at all Yamaha showrooms across the country.

Apart from this, the 2024 Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally remains unchanged. The scooter is still powered by a 125cc air-cooled fuel-injected 4-stroke SOHC 2-valve hybrid engine with a smart motor generator (SMG) system. The engine develops 8.2bhp at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm using a CVT.
Other notable bits include a telescopic setup, block pattern tyres, a digital instrument cluster (with Bluetooth connectivity), a brush guard, a side-stand engine cut-off, and an automatic start-and-stop system. The scooter has an underseat storage capacity of 21 litres.
Yamaha India: Recent Launches
In recent news, Yamaha launched the 2024 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition models of the YZF-R15M and the MT-15 V2.0 in India. The 2024 R15M MotoGP Edition is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, while the MT-15 V2 MotoGP Edition can be had at Rs 1.74 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The special editions are available exclusively at Yamaha's Blue Square dealerships across India.

Also available for purchase at Blue Square showrooms is a Carbon Edition version of the R15M for Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Showcased at the inaugural Bharat Mobility Expo in February 2024, the new Yamaha R15M Carbon Edition draws inspiration from the YZF-R1M's carbon fibre bodywork.
