2024 Yamaha FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX Gets Two New Colour Options at Rs 1.30 Lakh in India
For the model year 2024, the Yamaha FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX gets new Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green colour schemes, both carrying a uniform price tag of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Yamaha Motor India has announced new colour options for its FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX sports bike. For the model year 2024, the Yamaha FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX stands out with Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green colour schemes, both carrying a uniform price tag of Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The former gets a white fuel tank with black and orange decals, whereas the latter comes with an olive-coloured fuel tank with black and yellow decals. What differentiates them further is their wheel colours: Ice Fluo-Vermillion's Dark Orange versus Cyber Green's Fluorescent Yellow. The other colour options – Majesty Red, Racing Blue, Matte Black, and Matte Grey – will still be offered, taking the count to six. Besides these new colours, the Yamaha FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX brings no changes.

2024 Yamaha FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX: Powertrain
The 2024 version of the sports bike uses the same 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as before. The engine, which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, is tuned to produce 12.4bhp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm.
2024 Yamaha FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX: What Else?
With the 2024 Yamaha FZ-S FI Ver 4.0 DLX, you get a traction control system (a first in its segment), as well as an LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect, single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system), and full-LED lighting. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, while the braking setup is a combination of a disc on either end. The sports bike tips the scales at 135 kilograms, and has a fuel capacity of 13 litres.
In terms of market competition, the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX takes on the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160, Bajaj Pulsar N160, Suzuki Gixxer, and the Hero Xtreme 160R.
