Following the cosmetic and feature updates, the SUV is expected to command a higher price tag in India. The current-generation MG Gloster is priced at Rs 38.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new MG Gloster Blackstorm edition is available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations in India, each with six- and seven-seat options. The starting price is Rs 40.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Powering the MG Gloster Black Storm Edition will be the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine, which is offered in 2 states of tune: a turbo-diesel version and a twin-turbo unit.

MG India is going to make its flagship model- the Gloster comply with BS6 Phase 2 and RDE emission standards. The new emission rules will implement in India starting the next month.
