Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition Marks the Brand’s 60 Years of Partnership with James Bond
Q by Aston Martin, the company's bespoke customisation division, has built the unique DB12 Goldfinger Edition. The anniversary model is limited to only 60 units.
Aston Martin has unveiled the DB12 Goldfinger Edition to commemorate its long-standing 60-year partnership with the iconic James Bond spy series. The anniversary model has a production run of 60 units and is inspired by the DB5, the first Aston Martin seen in the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger. Similar to the original model, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition sports the famous Silver Birch exterior colour scheme. It has silver 21-inch wheels, black brake calipers, gold side strakes, and a distinctive Aston Martin insignia etched in silver and black enamel.

Inside, the super tourer features leather sports seats finished in the traditional DB5 fluted style and the Prince of Wales check perforation pattern. The treadplates, headliner, and door inserts all have the same design. According to Aston Martin, this is a reference to the iconic suit design of James Bond. The Bond model also gets 'eight of hearts' embossed on the driver's sun visor, a nod to the playing card used in the final poolside draw scene filmed in Miami.
Other highlights include 18k gold-plated interior ornamentation, a polished sill plaque with the Goldfinger 60th Anniversary emblem, and a notched gear selector modelled after a tracking device. Under the hood, the model packs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 662bhp at 6000rpm and 799Nm at 2750-6000rpm.
Although the pricing of this exclusive model is currently under wraps, Aston Martin states that the lucky 60 buyers of the vehicle will receive a variety of gifts, including a Silver Birch Speedform model, a premium key presentation box, and a personalised car cover, a 35mm film clip of Goldfinger's famous Furka Pass scene, as well as a 1/60 platinum special edition Aston Martin magazine. Notably, these gifts will be given to owners in a Globe-Trotter attaché case resembling the car's appearance, with a Prince of Wales check interior and a Silver Birch exterior.
