Maruti Suzuki has achieved a historic milestone by exporting 30 lakh cars from India, boosting its position in the global automotive market. The Brezza manufacturer began exports in 1986 and hit a 10-lakh-unit landmark in April 2012. The second cumulative milestone of 20 lakh units was accomplished in February 2021, after eight years and ten months. Driven by rising global demand, the final 10 lakh units were added to this achievement in just 3 years and 9 months (November 2024).
With a strong dedication to quality, Maruti Suzuki claims that it has effectively tapped the growing global demand. This success reflects the company's ability to meet the expectations of customers in several segments, including SUVs and hatchbacks. In line with its dedication to meeting global demands, Maruti Suzuki is focused on diversifying its offerings and significantly increasing vehicle exports, with a target of 7.5 lakh units by 2030-31.
